Now I am 4 months old
It look my father a long time to catch me smiling, as I was seriously looking
at the funny gadget that my father has in his hand that keep flashing into my
face.
Yogeswari 4 Months!!
When I was almost 4 months my mum and dad took me together with Nagarani and
Solotsna on a trip to Rameswaran. Within my Vedic chart all the planets are
between Rahu and Kethu thus reducing the power of all the planets, as such it
iss good for me to do special pujas for them.
At the moment I can’t say the mantras yet so mummy and especially daddy do it
for me.
This was the first time for me I went out of my home for such a long time and
also the first time I drove in the car for 4 hours!
Saravannan one of my big brothers who drives the car, drove very carefully and
avoided as much as possible all the holes and bumps in the road, quite a
challenge in India!!
I needed some time to adjust as I was far away from all the sounds and smells I
have come to know and love within the first months of my life! On the way I went
shopping for some new dresses and toys and that made me very happy, most of all
my daddy who loves shopping for my mum and me, seldom for himself!
The next day in the afternoon we went to the first temple in my life. It is said
that in Rameswaran Lord Rama prayed to Shiva before he went to Lanka to free his
beloved wife the Divine Sita. Lord Hanuman the monkey god installed a Shiva
Lingam there which is very important for mummy. Last year when I had just
arrived in mummy’s belly she was in temple there and asked for my protection
when she was praying at the Shiva Lingam, now a year later I was there with her
and she was full of gratitude when we visited the Shiva Lingam.
First my daddy and me took a dip in the sea there before we went into the temple
like all pilgrims do. WOW that was a shock!! We both went almost totally
underwater!!
Mummy wrapped me quickly in a dry towel and daddy carried me all the way to the
temple and in the temple while he was doing mantras in my little body. That was
a funny feeling I could feel the vibration of his voice everywhere and I was
very quite for a long time in the temple… until my belly became a bit too empty
In this temple there are 27 tanks with water which all will give you a blessing
if one bathes from it.
Nagarani and Solotsma got 27 times a bucket full of water pored over them, I was
watching everything carefully in the warm arms of my daddy. As for me he just
sprinkled the water on my head. The sound of falling water reminded me of the
water falling in my little bath tub back home
When we arrived back in the hotel I was dreaming of playing with Hanuman in my
bath tub full of foaming soap.
The next morning I decided to sleep in, all the excitement from the day before
had made me very tired.
Mummy enjoyed swimming in the sea but when she decided to take me with her I
fully protested, this water was a bit too much!!
Maybe next year mummy!! In the afternoon again an adventure! We went to the
planetary temple which is in the water.
It
is said that Lord Rama installed the statues there and prayed to them for
blessings before he went to Lanka. Daddy carried me in his warm arms while he
and Nagarani walked with a priest around the statues and did planetary puja. I
was even allowed to touch them all, that was nice and I enjoyed watching all the
sparkles of the sun in the sea….
The next day we went back home and I was very happy to fall asleep in our own
bed!
2 weeks later we went on a little holiday again! This time it was Kodaikanal,
way up in the mountains of Tamil Nadu. Only 2 days and 1 night we stayed there
and I enjoyed playing with mummy and daddy all the time. This was also the first
trip I was using my new car seat and I must say it is very comfortable!! I even
slept in it for several hours during the trip.
