Ear Piercing

Another bi-even took place when I was almost 17 months.
Again there were a whole crowd of children gathered on our property. They were running around and I started to enjoy their company more and more.
Many of them
were strangers to me s
I stayed close to my loving dear mother. Generally there are many people around the property, but to-day there may have been almost or more the a hundred of them. Not realizing that they have all come specially to see me, having my ear pierced.
Elango my favorite big uncle was bend over a huge cooking pot cooking outside the kitchen. Insted of cooking in the kitchen they made a wood stove outside.
My
mother and police uncle held my head firm, my poor small tender head, and the
gold smith pierced my ears. What a cruel act, it was indeed painful. I screamed
and yelled, could have brought the temple down, thank god I was not loud enough.
You
can see my face just after the pierced my ears, was not a pretty sight to see.
The
Gold smith and his friends, also friends of my parents.
During any special accusations it is a habit to feet the visitors, this is the
third time that my parents fed my visitors within my 16 months of my life on
Beautiful Mother Earth, and am sure knowing my parents, there will be many more.
For
my birthday we gave away toys and uniform to the village kids and today we
gave them school stationary, and dolls. 16th March 2008.
